There were no reviews wheni got it, but I loved the color, and I knew it had to be pretty good since it was Retrospec. Upon receiving it, I was amazed at how well it was packaged and how nice the material of the saddle was. Also, when you look underneath the saddle to see how it is stitched it's very apparent that the manufacturing quality on it is excellent. As for the comfort level, it really is true that the saddle is very lightweight, and also has a way of being soft and comfortable and stiff for performance all at the same time. It's also the perfect shape (at least for me). The first couple of rides were a bit stiffer, and it definitely "broke in" and became more comfortable the more I rode it. It looks identical to the picture. When I first sat on the saddle, I was a little disappointed that it didn't have much cushion. I've rode 40-50 miles on this saddle and have never had any troubles what so ever. Although it may have a lack cushion, while riding it's actually pretty comfortable. I've worn black shorts while riding and the seat has stayed just as pearly white as when I bought it. I would highly recommend this seat to anyone looking to add a stylish and necessary piece to their bike! |
