Fixed Gear Single Speed Track Bike, Black, 50cm Reviews
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Good bike for starter, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fixed Gear Single Speed Track Bike - Fixie (Misc.) I've done a lot of research online finally end up noticing this bike. It is an good bike for the starter definitely.Pros: Sharp looking, Light, Easy to assemble. Cons: Parts are cheap(worth the money) but easy to upgrade. Packaging is good. All parts are covered with plastic covers or proper protection and it reached my home unharmed at all. Though the box had some piercing. I'll recommend this bike to anyone who is new to a rode bike. Sweet Deal, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fixed Gear Single Speed Track Bike - Fixie (Sports) I have to say this is a pretty solid bike. I don't understand where others complained about assembling it. It pretty much comes put together for the most part and all you have to do is put in the front wheel and handlebars. I did bring it in to my local bike shop to make sure everything was done correctly and for a tune up and it's been smooth sailing since. I live in Brooklyn and have taken this bike over all 3 local bridges (Brooklyn, Manhattan & Williamsburg), it's also pretty light weight which is helpful for the city. It's the most pleasurable bike I've had since I was a kid with my Huffy. Highly recommend this bike if you're looking for a good city bike. Great Starter Fixed Gear, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fixed Gear Single Speed Track Bike - Fixie (Misc.) I purchased this bike to get into fixed gear riding. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a bike/hobby i may not pursue, so i snagged this deal to try it out. Overall this bike is great, but there are some things that aren't as good as they could be. The welds are strong but do not look very nice in some areas, the pedals were cheap and i immediately upgraded to some with cages, the seat is decent but nothing great, and the brakes aren't the best but do work (if you're gonna ride a brakeless fixed then this doesn't matter). The bike came with no instructions but was pretty easy to assemble but it required two sets of hands sometimes. This is a really good bike to start riding fixed on, however, i plan to upgrade and swap parts as i go and urge anyone else to do the same. If you're unsure of what size to get, I am 5'11" and bought a 58cm frame. |
